Personal Shield Generators offer limited protection against energy based weapons as well as harmful ambient radiation. Incoming charged particles are diffused across the disruption field and high velocity projectiles are deflected or vaporized. While PSG devices will temporally extend your resistance to damage they do not take the place of body armor in combat situations. Each impact weakens the disruption field and sustained fire will deplete the shield before it can recharge leaving you vulnerable.
Basic Use
- Right click the PSG in your inventory and choose ADD
- You can optionally also ADD any other accessories that may have been included with your PSG
There is nothing else you need to do. If you are wearing the Quandry/Stellar RP HUD you will see a shield indicator pop up to the right of the health bar. This will show you the PSG charge status.
Switching Skin
To switch between the light and dark skins for the PSG and accessories simply click and hold for 1 second.
Editing The PSG
- If you need to adjust the right click and edit the PSG attachment on your body
- Move the PSG normally. The MESH shield layer will not be affected.
